My name is Michael J Page and researching John Borland from Cape Vincent I know that John Borland built the Borland House between 1818-1828 in Cape Vincent; this according to the Cape Vincent Historical Society / Museum / Historical Tour. To date, I have no genealogical or historical information on this John Borland. His parents are POSSIBLY James Borland (1766-1852) and Elizabeth Titus (1774-1839), both buried in Cape Vincent. Family background is an extensive report that i have on Captain James Titus Borland (1823-1915) of Cape Vincent, who was married twice and has six (6) children between the two marriages.
